Hardaway Baseball Batting Cages
Donation protected
With the economy in the shape it is and any funding from the state or district school system going to academics, we as parents and volunteers are trying to raise money to repair and update the batting cages at Hardaway High School in Columbus, Georgia. Our baseball and softball players cannot use this facility as the netting is rotted with holes in it, the lights are broken and the flooring has been vandalized with paint. Not only would the repair and upgrade give the student atheletes a place to practice, it would also serve other recreational baseball/softball teams in the area. Hardaway competes at the highest level academically and atheletically with several other schools in our district, but our student population falls in the "less than average" household income median as most student atheletes don't have the funds necessary to play sports. Other schools in our district have extensive booster clubs that fund their programs as where Hardaway simply doesn't have that kind of support. Any donation would be greatly appreciated and go towards the funding of the project.
