Hairston's Family
Donation protected
On the 21st of January, a family, elderly mother and her daughter resting approximately 10:30 P.M. awaken by the family dogs. After going to check on the dogs only to find the living room blazing. Daughter was unable to save anything including four dogs; quickly rushed out the back and her mother rushed out the front door. Lost all their possessions and home due to a night fire on Bowen Boulevard in Winston. Personal items (pocketbooks, car keys, license, money, clothes...)all flamed in the fire.
Due to the mobile phones damaged in the fire daughter ran across the street with no shoes to seek help; call for 911. Only saved item not burned was the HOLY BIBLE.
Prior to this tragedy, the daughter lost her job two month ago and was not able to afford the home-owner and car insurance. Daughter was in the market for employment and had completed orientation. But due to the fire daughter was not able to complete the next hiring process.
The daughter’s car is the start to recovery. But funds are needed to assist with the tags, inspection, and battery to get the car on the road.
Family is totally displaced and funds are needed to secure stable housing, furniture, household miscellaneous, and regularly day to day living necessities
Once housing is secured, the family will need required deposits, for water, rental, and duke power.
Cell phone is needed to conduct medical (mother) and other business required to aid in recovery.
Thank you for your support in this tragedy
