Michael McRae's Burial Expense Fund

My father passed away after a massive stroke, his second in a year. When he got sick a few months back his life insurance policy lapsed. My sisters and I didn't know he was uninsured until we were at the funeral home making the arrangements with our mother who thought that he would be covered by his VA benefits. This comes as a huge shock as the burial expenses now fall to my sisters and I. We have cut costs conciderably to still be able to give him a respectful service.
