Meet Tommy! He would have turned 6 in less than 3 weeks.On Friday November 14, 2014 his parents found him unconscious. He was rushed to TC Thompson's after his mother performed CPR. At 7:50pm the following day this bright, funny sweet kindergarten student lost his life. Tommy was born with a brain aneurysm that was undetectable. The aneurysm had burst and there was nothing that could be done. If you were fortunate enough to have known Tommy, you knew a sweet little boy that was proud to be a big brother, loved school, had lots of friends and was just a funny kid to be around. Tommy loved superheroes which made it fitting that his parents chose to turn the tragedy of his passing into the gift of life for other children. Tommy was an organ donor and had a rare blood type only shared with 1% of the population. Because of his parents selfless choice to donate, an 11 month old baby recieved the liver that his parents thought would never be available. Tommy is that childs superhero. Tommy spared another family the pain his own is having to go through, what an amazing little guy. Tommy left behind his mom Ashley , his (step) dad Dylan and an 11 month old baby brother Cash.
The days ahead will be long and emotionally trying for his parents. Certainly this is something no one coIld be prepared for emotionally or financially. I am starting this page to help this sweet family with funeral expenses and the bills that they have acquired. Please donate anything you can to make things maybe a little easier in their time of need. Grieving for the loss of such a young vibrant boy who had his whole life ahead of him is hard enough without the worries of how they will afford to put him in his final resting place and provide for his baby brother and pay bills at the same time. Please help.
