H. Charles Smith; Hal, to everyone who knew him passed away suddenly on Monday, August 13, 2018 doing exactly what he loved, advocating in front of jury for an indigent client. Hal, chose his passion over money and represented the indigent in criminal matters for 39 years, he was a true advocate. As a Vietnam Veteran Hal will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery.
Now the financial burden of his final expenses and the expense of keeping his office open until all his cases can be reassigned and new attorneys brought up to speed has fallen squarely on the shoulders of his dearest love, Toni and secretary of 25 years, Bridget.
