Medical expenses to regain mobility

Those who have been following Pauls story, thank you! We are very excitied about a new opportunity, a glimpse of hope that has come our way. We recently heard about a facility in Florida that offers treatment for people with spinal cord injury. We are trying to raise funds to send Paul on this treatment in hopes of him regaining mobility. All of your donations would be put forth for the medical expenses and trip expenses since as you all know we currently live in San Antonio,Texas. Pauls story begins on an early morning of October 1, 2013. While driving to register for his first semester of college, he was followed by a red vehicle after he had cut him off. The unidentified people in the red vehicle then shot 4 times at Pauls vehicle and in a matter of seconds his life was completely changed. Paul was 18 years old at the time of this road rage incident and while most 18 year olds are excited to finally become independent, Paul was left with no choice but to be dependant of someone even for his most basic needs. Tragically, one bullet struck the back of his neck causing a severe spinal cord injury leaving him paralyzed from the shoulders down instantly. Upon arrival at University hospital Pauls family was given little hope of survival, but thanks to prayers Paul survived the incident. Paul was in the hospital for two months to recover and relearn how to do basic things like breath on his own. Prior to his accident, Paul was an aspiring artist and now its hard for him to hold a pen due to the lack of mobility of his hands.
His mother Karla Villa had to quit her job to become his full time provider and assist with his basic needs. Almost two years later, he continues to battle through everyday struggles and despite given no hope by the doctors to ever walk again, he knows god has the last word.
The person (or people) who did this to him have never been caught, but we are more focused on Pauls recovery than anything else. We know God will take care of the rest and justice will be served one day or another. This go fund me account is set up to raise money for which will help Paul recover from his severe spinal cord injury because no person deserves to hear they will never walk again.
