Good Friday Fast

Last year members of the Rotary Club of Newbridge conducted a sponsored 24 hour fast to raise funds for the Dining Room food bank in Newbridge town centre.
The fast was very successful and we thank all our supporters and those who donated. It meant that the Dining Room was able to respond to the growing need for its services.
We are conducting another sponsored fast on Good Friday. This year we are raising funds for a number of charities in Newbridge that look after the homeless. Please support this worthy endeavour and donate whatever you can to our volunteers or donate on our gofundme page.
What is Rotary
Over the 110 years since it was founded, Rotary International has grown to become the biggest, highly respected and perhaps best known voluntary service organisation in the world with over 1.2 million members in 150 countries with more than 35,000 clubs.
The investment by Rotary Newbridge in our community, locally, nationally and internationally benefits all including local hospices and other charity organisations. The youth in our community benefit through youth leadership programmes, driver safety programmes and many other youth programmes. Rotary Newbridge support international projects through education, water, and health and many more programmes culminating in the world-wide drive by Rotary to eradicate polio as a disease working with the World Health Organisation.
