GOD'S CARE CHICKEN PROJECT

Malnourishment is a problem common to many Ugandans, especially those living in the outlying areas.  Often, people have only what they can raise or grow.  Others without land are many times limited to a sparse diet consisting of one or two food groups, totally inadequate for good health.  This fact is especially troublesome in the lives of children, whose growing bodies require a good diet to develop properly.

With this in mind we have strived to provide our children under the care of GOD'S CARE CHILDREN FOUNDATION a diet that will meet the needs of their growing bodies.  An important part of providing this provision is our POULTRY PROJECT.  The project will include the purchase of young chickens, as well as fencing material and a suitable shelter for the birds, to be erected on our property.  Not only will eggs provide food and an important element in the diet of our children, but we are planning to produce enough eggs to also sell.  The income from the sale of eggs will help provide funds for the purchase of other nutritional foods.

We have budgeted $3000 (US dollars) for the POULTRY PROJECT.  And a generous benefactor has already donated $1500 toward meeting this need!  So we only need another $1500 to make this project a reality!!  Anything you can give will help us toward our goal!  Please pray and consider how you can help us make this a reality.
