The Youngest Triple Crown Hiker

My name is Christian, and a lot of people call me Buddy Backpacker. I'm seven years old. I live in Crested Butte, Colorado.


I have a chance to be the Youngest Triple Crowner of Hiking. The record is 13 years old and I will be eight.

I have already hiked two of the three big trails. I hiked the whole Appalachian Trail when I was 5. Then, I hiked the Pacific Crest Trail when I was six. I also hiked the 500-mile Colorado Trail this summer.

I'm raising money for our next trip so I can hike the Continental Divide Trail from April to October.


The stuff we use for camping has traveled over 6,000 miles in the last two years. Some of it is in pretty bad shape!

We need new backpacks, batteries, shoes, socks, hiking poles, headlamps, sleeping bags, sleeping pads, and such.


I'll use your donaition on special lightweight food too that fits in my backpack. And of course, chocolate.
