Give Back Community Garden

Champaign County, IL is considered a food desert, meaning that many people don't have access to or can't afford to buy fresh fruits and vegetables.
This is where the Give Back Garden comes in!
The Give Back Garden is an underfunded project linked with the Champaign-Urbana Public Health District's Healthy Champaign County program. The garden provides fresh produce for FREE to low-income families to promote healthy eating habits. Last year alone the Give Back Garden produced 800lbs!
Now the garden needs your help to become more efficient and help even more people. The garden is in need of a watering system, picnic tables, fencing, signage, and gardening tools.
The Give Back Garden plays an important role in promoting healthy eating and an opportunity for Champaign County residents to practice their gardening skills.
