Getting My Sister Back on Her Feet

My sister Sue has severe depression and is in the middle of a divorce that is going to force her into bankrupcy. She moved from a large house into a trailer with our mother. Our mother is legally blind from macular degeneration and our father died 5 years ago from ALS.  He was a pilot in the Navy and the greatest man I have ever known.

She currently has about $35,000 - $40,000 worth of debt in legal fees and the trial hasn't even started yet. The opposing side seems to be more interested in vengeance than in resolution.

She has used up all of her inheritance money and I have given her mine which is almost gone too. As I read this I feel depressed, and I don't know how to explain how important she is to me.

Sue is my older sister and she has watched out for me for as long as I can remember (see picture). In fact, she has always helped anyone in need. I feel really bad that I can't do more for her now.

I want to see her feeling better. I want her to be able to work again. She is very talented. She just needs help getting back on her feet.

From the view point of contribution to society, my sister is a worthy investment. I believe in her.
