Help me get Olive to school safely

Olive needs a new bike trailer so that I can get her to and from school through the winter.

I have been trying to weatherize her existing one to prepare for the cold and snow but it is an uphill battle that I can not win.  The canvas is old and sun-worn and no longer even remotely weather proof.  We bike every where, everyday, and we need a set-up that will keep her safe and warm. 

I can not afford to buy a new trailer.  I am in school full-time and have zero expendable income to make this purchase.  I need help.  I am often rubbish at asking for it, but there comes a time when you have to admit to yourself that you can not always do it on your own.  This is one of those moments. 

The trailer I am hoping to buy is designed for all-weather riding and has a better bottom and sides to keep out the elements.
