Paint Children's Cranial Helmets

Some of you are aware that I recently was searching for someone to paint our son's cranial helmet. We were contacted by a man named Greg Chadwick who did a custom airbrush at no charge to us. I started this fund to enable Greg to be able to do this for other babies who have to wear these helmets. The money will offset the cost of materials, equipment, labor etc that someone would normally have to pay to get this done. But it could also apply to any type of prosthetic. Because every child deserves to feel beautiful! And for parents, being able to decorate their child's helmet to fit their personality makes it easier!

My son has a condition called plagiocephaly where his cranial bones are misshapen. This was a result of torticollis (a condition of his neck muscles) prematurity and acid reflux. After seeing a Neuro surgeon, physical therapist, and orthotist/ prosthetic specialist we were told that the only way to correct his cranial bones is to have him fitted for a cranial helmet that he has to wear 23 hours a day for up to 7 months. When we got the helmet is was all white. So i posted in public Facebook groups asking for an artist who could paint it the response was overwhelming. Overnight I had hundreds of people sharing liking and commenting on my post.

I was messaged by a man named Greg Chadwick who does tattoos and airbrushing. He offered to do a custom airbrush at no charge to us. He has 6 kids of his own and still worked tirelessly to complete it as fast as possible because my son can't have the helmet off too long. The results are amazing and have been seen by thousands!

Greg did this all from the kindness of his heart expecting nothing in return. He made a huge difference for our family and we will never forget it. All he said was that he hoped it would inspire others to continue to do nice things for each other. So let's help raise the money so he can do this for more kids! Keep his message of kindness going!
