Austin's Fight Againist Cancer

Hi, my name is Melody Cooper. I am a friend of the Snyder family. Austin Snyder is a 12 year old boy who likes the San Francisco 49ers, penguins, race cars, fishing, swimming, camping knee boarding, Legos, movies, and video games. Austin has been fighting cancer since he was 7. In September 2009, he was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in his left femur. He had multiply surgeries and treatments. In December 2013, he was diagnosed with AML Leukemia. In April 2014, he had a bone marrow transplant. He relapsed in chemo therapy. He is currently at St. Jude’s waiting to get stronger for another bone marrow transplant. Austin’s journey has extreme highs and lows, but he is a fighter and will beat cancer.

Austin and his mom, Robyn are in Memphis, TN at St. Jude’s. Austin’s dad, Danny, and sister Erika are in Mountain Home, AR so that Danny can work and Erika can go to school. On the weekends they try to visit Austin, but travel expenses and regular expenses are keeping them from visiting him as much as they would like. This time it’s been over a month since Austin has been home. He really wants to go home and he misses his dog. Please donate if you can, even if it’s just a couple of dollars.
