Dear friends
Our names are Aslan and Anna, and we are two very inspired young people and youth guides. Without knowing what it would bring, some years ago we each found ourselves part of an adventure called Y-TOP (Young Template Of Peace), which holds an international youth gathering every year where young people from 14+ countries worldwide participate. For all of these young people, the Y-TOP is an amazing opportunity to begin to understand themselves and the world around them, and to explore what each person can give to the world of themselves.
This year sees the start of something new. In Italy this November (13th -17th), the international youth guides are coming together as a core group of young and older people. We shall be exploring what being a youth guide means, what young people need from us, and deepen our understanding of teamwork in the future.
This work has a lot of meaning. The opportunities the Y-TOP gives to young people around the world are incredible. We really want to continue doing this work but here we ask you for help in our finances.
None of us are paid for this work, and this year so much has been happening that our spare money for flights is gone. Therefore we ask you to help us raise 505 Euros (£400 or 3764 DKK) so that we can pay for our flights and travel costs to Italy this November and continue our training as youth guides.
Through our stay, we will write a daily blog so that you can see what your donation has given the opportunity to, and perhaps you will be inspired.
