Lisa Canavan Memorial Fund

Lisa Bitterman Canavan, of Marietta, Georgia, passed away on October 25, 2014. Lisa, the daughter of Richard and Joan Bitterman, was born in Hampton, Virginia on October 9, 1957. She is survived by her two daughters, Mary Katherine and Emily, and their father, Joseph L. Canavan all of Marietta, Georgia; two sisters - Sue Purdy (Bill) of Tavares, Florida and Janie Ripple (Steve Gwin) of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, many nieces and nephews and her three cats, Max, Goose and Corley. Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Jim Bitterman, and her niece Krystle Ripple. Funeral arrangements are being provided by West Cobb Funeral Home in Marietta, Georgia. On Thursday, October 29, 2014, a visitation will be held at West Ridge Church in Dallas, Georgia from 6:00-8:00pm. On Saturday, November 1, 2014, a memorial service will be held at McMillan-Small Funeral Home in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina beginning at 4:00pm with visitation immediately following.
