Thanksgiving Turkey GiveAway

There is a dying need for someone to lend a helping hand in many areas in South Central Los Angeles, but I would like to focus more attention on family time. Spending positive time with your family is extremely important to me because I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to spend time with my family often, but everyone is not as fortunate.  In this area it is a dream for some  to be able to feed a large family at once for thanksgiving . This year Playworks and I would like to make that dream a reality.

We will be having a Thanksgiving Day Giveaway on Saturday, November 22, 2014. On behalf of Playworks Southern California and Woodcrest Elementary, I would love for all my friends and family to donate and help me feed famalies here at Woodcrest Elementary. All donations will be used to provide the children and their families with a day of fun and healthy play, as well as a Thanksgiving Dinner bag with a variety of things to make a meal. On this day we will be serving over 900 families. We as playworks serve in 26 low-income elementary schools throughout Southern California, serving over 14,000 children daily, and this event will help us to best serve a portion of those children and their families.

It will bring us a tremendous amount of joy to have you as a supporter for our Thanksgiving Day Giveaway on November 22, 2014 at Woodcrest Elementary. We look forward to your participation
