I’ve just graduated after busting my ass in school for four years. What you may not know is that I’ve busted my ass a lot harder than I let on. I’ve been through hell and back, fought an eating disorder, came out to my catholic family, and I’m still struggling with depression…but to be honest, this is the final straw. I’m being pushed to my mental and emotional limits.
For the past three years my mom and I have been living paycheck to paycheck. Its not easy going to school period. It’s worse trying to pay attention not knowing where my next meal was coming from and constantly worrying about my overworked mom. Although I graduated with amazing grades and was accepted to Seneca, my college fund has long been emptied to pay the bills.
