We live on a wonderful planet and this year, I am embarking on a 6 month trip around just a small part of it. As part of a Gap Year Scholarship I recieved from the Royal Geographical Society this year, I am going to be investigating the consequences of global warming on the melting ice in Alaska and Canada, talking to professors in many universities, and taking a trip south to the USA to see how much they are aware of the problem. Returning back to the UK in February, I will be embarking on a UK tour in promoting Geographical fieldwork and sharing my experiences from abroad.

It would be fantastic if you could spare maybe just a pound on what will be, for me, a really inspiring trip and a \'first\' for the UK as I am, to date, the youngest UK RGS Scholar to have investigated this particular issue in Northern America.

FUNDRAISING EVENTS YOU COULD SPONSOR ME FOR:
- A \'through the night\' city walk in Norwich that I will be doing later in the year. I will be talking to the night shift workers on the night of 12th April.
- \'Weavers Way Walk\' : I will be walking the entire route of the Weavers Way making a documentary of my journey later in the summer, on the first week of July.
- \'The A-Z bikeride of Norfolk\': I will be cycling to a place beginning with every letter of the alphabet in a day, on the 9th April.
