Alex's Catapult fund for the future

My name is Alex Dassise and I am currently a senior at Lakeridge High School in Oregon. Throughout the last year I have learned a great deal about myself and what I want to do with my life. One major concept I have learned is that people of my generation will have to be more creative, invent our own jobs and learn through experience to be an Entrepreneur. I recently applied to attend the Ashoka's Catapult Program at Stanford University which was offered to students around the country. ( http://www.catapultincubator.org/  )It is an honor to be selected with only 75 students nation wide in the program. Attending the Catapult Program will give me the knowledge and confidence to think outside the box and create new opportunities that do not currently exist. As a member of the DECA business program at my high school I will be able to spread my knowledge to students in my community.  This program would be amazing to be a part of. I need to raise $1,250 to be part of this great once in a life time experience.  This program begins October 30th, 2014 and ends March 2nd. I need $500 by October 30th, $375 by November 29th, and $375 by December 29th.
