Joey Doyle Fund

Donation protected

As we all know, our dear friend, Joey Doyle has lost his battle with cancer and has left his body and is now hanging out with jesus and other people we read about in the bible. Joey has left such an impact on all of our lives even if you only new him for a day its hard to see him as any less of a great, selfless, kind man that loved sports and especially his deep passion for basketball.  Joey's immediate goal ater beating cancer was to move to Michigan and setup housekeeping so he could be closer to his precious son, Gabriel Joseph Doyle again. All he wanted was to be in his son's life any way possible and be the best father he could possibly be to not only his son but his other step daughters he cared so deeply about. he also wanted his family to reunite and be a whole family again and was willing to do whatever it took to get him better to do so. Joey's brother kenneth was a 99.9% match and what a blessing that was! his brother was taking the shots necessary to increase his stem cell production. Then, long story short he had a tube put in  his chest and was hooked up to a machine which took out his blood, removed the stem cells, and put his blood back in his body. the stem cells were frozen and will now be donated so they dont go to waste. Joey's bone marrow transplant was scheduled for November 9th (Joey's grandfathers bday) he had waited a long time for this day. But then, Joey got a virus, and had togo back to the hospital then he had togo to  ICU and that was were  his battle on this earth ended and we all lost a friend, son, father, brother, and uncle. Unfortunately, he didnt have and insurance so his family is getting the money up for his expenses the best they can.  Ive heard alot of people say "I wish there was something i could do to help!" well here it is. They arent even sure of the amount needed for the medical bills, but im sure its alot, which is why i only put $5,000 up there but they need much more im sure. Anything you can donate will help, even if its just a $1. the family will be visiting this page frequently so if you  wanna say anything im sure they would love to read your comments and prayers. thank you soo much guys, you have no idea what this means to joeys family. Also, if any of you guys havent heard yet, the funeral will be this Saturday at 2pm at "The Well" formally known as "New Covenant Church" at 265 Wire Road Aiken S.C. 29803. if anybody has anything to say about how Joey has effected their life the family welcomes you todo so. also they ask if people could please bring a dish to the funeral as there will be food to eat after it is over. please share this!!!!
