Angel's Study Abroad Trip Funds

Hello, and thank you for visiting my GoFundMe page! My name is Florangel Suero and I am a Posse Scholar and student at Bryn Mawr College.
Three weeks ago I was accepted into an amazing program that would allow me to travel to Sao Paulo, Brazil; Ahmedabbad, India; and Cape Town, South Africa to study the political, social, and cultural structures of cities. It is a highly competitive program to get into, and (from what I hear) it is an intensely challenging and rewarding program.
Accepting my position to this program has not been so easy for me: my parents can only offer minimal help financially, and I would hate to put pressure on their already-tight budgets. In addition, my father does not believe that young women should travel by themselves, especially around the world, and I have to move out of my house this coming December.
I have been preparing for this program's financial pressure by working from 14 to 24 hours per week, which leaves me with limited time to attend to my homework or to be involved with other extracurriculars. My dream is to be a social psychologist, which requries a PhD, which requires good grades... you get the picture. I am not sleeping a lot this semester.
There are many fees associated with the program including the cost of applying for Brazilian, Indian, and South African visas, getting the right immunizations (Yellow Fever, Tetanus, and Measles/Mumps), and getting medication to prevent Malaria. Currently, I do not have health insurance, which means that I will have to pay for all of the medical requirements out of pocket.
For these reasons, and for general living expenses that I will incur throughout the trip, I am asking for donations. Every little donation helps, and I will appreciate any and all help I can get from the bottom of my heart. I do not know how to show my gratitude to kind strangers and friends, but if you let me know a way, I will do everything in my power to do so. In addition, I am committed to the idea of paying it forward, so by investing in me you are facilitating my ability to invest in others, and those people can invest in more people, and so on, and so forth.
