Money to retain a lawyer

Where do I even begin?

I am writing on behalf of my daughter Jennifer Paulding and I am pleading with anyone that reads this to please help us out with our situation .

My daughter suffers from mental illness .She has suffered from mental illness and has been in countless mental hopsitals from the age of 13 until the present day. She is 20  years old now

A few years ago she was charged with resisting /battery on an officer when she was being baker acted due to being suicidal .

She was not in her right frame of mind at the time and was not in control of her actions . They gave her a 3 year probation sentence for this anyway .

She has been baker acted numerous times because she suffers from a multitude of psychiatric conditions.

On probation she complied with all that was given to her .A few months ago she was with a friend in his car and they were approached by the police and the police found marijuana in her friends possession .

They arrested them both on drug possession charges even though ,she did not have any in her possession.
The drug charge was  eventually dropped and the case was closed ,but  since this charge was considered a violation of her probation, she is now facing VOP charges

They modified her probation to community control AKA  house arrest .
We were falsely told by her court appointed lawyer that this was NOT house arrest in any way, shape,or form .

Our understanding was that community control entailed a more strict probation by weekly drug testing .

(Reg probation had random drug testing) Had we known what community control meant ,we would not have accpted those terms .

We were told that she either was facing a year of jail time or community control .Those were the only 2 options given to us.

Today we face VOP charges which reopened her original charge that can carry a max term of 5 years in jail .Even though she was found not guilty and the drug charge was dropped, she is still facing jail time of her original resisting/battery charge

My daughter since being on house arrest has suffered greatly and we desperately need financial help to hire a lawyer that can and will help us

She is a mother now to a beautiful baby girl that has given her a reason to get well and be the best she can be  . And for the first time in a long time she was HAPPY!

Being on house arrest is very hard for her when her coping skills has always been to be able to take a walk to clear her mind ,doing gymnastics, and just being physically active .
She  is unable to do any of those things now

One major trigger for her is being confined .Being confined at home makes her feel anxious which triggers depression and suicidal thoughts

Her baby is also under "house arrest "since she is not able to even take her baby outside for fresh air

Since being placed under house arrest, she has had to be baker acted numerous times due to feeling overwhelmed and depressed and suicidal

This is breaking my heart to see my once happy daughter  not having  any reason to hope with this court case .

Knowing she is possibly facing a 5 year prsion sentence and wont even be able to see, touch or hold her baby for the next 5 years

Can anyone blame her for feeling this way?

I wish I had the financial means to hire the best VOP lawyer there is but I can't .
I don't even own my own home or car .
I rent an apartment and live on a fixed income myself

If she is sentenced to 5 years of jail time I fear she will not be able to cope in that situation.

She needs HELP not punishment!

Please find it in your hearts to help us through this

I wish I had money.
I  wish none of this ever happened .
I wish that this nightmare will go away and I can have my once happy daughter back
