Thank you for taking the time to visit this page. My name is Deidra. I have started this page for my best friend Sarah Carter, her husband Terry and Bronson, their precious baby boy on the way.
On July 13, 2015, Sarah and Terry found out heart breaking news about Bronson. Sarah, now 31 weeks along, had experienced concerning symptoms which prompted her to see her doctor. This led to an ultrasound which showed serious problems with Bronson's heart which were not detected on the routine 20 week ultrasound. Had Sarah not had the symptoms that morning that led her to go to the doctor, which had nothing to do with his heart condition, they would have never found this and baby Bronson would not have made it after birth.
On July 23rd, Sarah and Terry met with a pediatric cardiologist who explained the severity of Bronson's condition. Bronson has 6 complex problems with his heart which will require immediate heart surgery after birth. Bronson's recovery will likely take many months. Akron Children's Hospital has decided that Bronson's conditions are too complex for their facility, therefore they are referring them to Philadelphia. This is a 6 hour drive away from home and would require extensive costs for travel/lodging.
As you can imagine this has taken a toll on this little family emotionally and financially. Please join me by raising money to help with medical costs and lost wages. My goal is for Sarah and Terry to focus all their energy on this sweet baby boy rather than finacial worries.
