On June 7th I adopted my best friend from the Seattle Humane Society, Radar. We quickly fell in love and he became my therapy dog, helping me with my anxiety and depression.
On Friday, September 26th Radar and I were doing chores around the house and I went into the laundry room (it's located directly beneath my apartment) Radar came in behind me checking in and letting me know he had followed me outside. When I came out he was no where to be found. He never leaves the property without me and knows where he is limited to going while outside. He seemed to just vanish. No one of the street saw him and he wasn't at our friends who live on the block.
I have put up over 1,000 posters with the help of friends and family, worked with pet detectives, pet psychics, called every vet in the phone book, gone door to door, basically exhausted every avenue available to me. Radar was not wearing his collar when he went missing, but he is mircochipped with an amber alert out on him.
I am asking for $1,000 to help pay to print and send out 5,000 postcards with Radar's infomation to the people who live within 1-2 miles of our place.
I can buy the mail route from the post office for $850. I believe I can get the postcards printed for less than $200. Any extra money raised will go to local rescue organizations if Radar is returned to me. If he does not come home I will use the money for a second round of postcards.
