Ariana's Mission Trip to Africa

Hello friends!!!
I'm Ariana Visentini :) I'm currently a junior at Iona College in New Rochelle, NY studying Marketing at the Hagan School of Business.

Community service is something very close to my heart. Whether it's going on a mission trip or simply helping out around campus, helping others is something I am very passionate about.  One of the quotes I live by daily is:

“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” - Mahatma Gandhi.

I've always wanted to do a mission trip in a third world country and I am SO blessed to say that I was selected to go to Zambia, Africa in the Summer with Iona In Mission!!!! On this trip, the team and I will act as servant-learners while working alongside the Christian Brothers and community partners on educational initiatives in Mazabuka.
I applied to this trip because I was not going to let something as physical and common as money stop me from fulfilling my dream. I can't wait to immerse myself, along side my team, in the beautiful culture of Zambia. I feel so humbled and happy to say that I'm on this team. But I need your help!! The cost of the trip is 3000$ and that is my fundraising goal. No donation is too small! And I truly appreciate every penny. I'm going to do all the fundraising I possibly can but it your support means the absolute world to me. All the congratulations and words of encouragement fill my heart with absolute joy.
