Connect Portland, Oregon to Africa!

The All African People's Revolutionary Party (A-APRP) Oregon Chapter is a group of young dedicated persons of African descent who seek to make concrete positive contributions to African self-reliance on the African continent.   The A-APRP Oregon Chapter's fundraising objective is centered around raising money to send 10 local A-APRP organizers from Portland, Oregon to A-APRP Chapters in Ghana and Guinea-Bissau, West Africa in December, 2015.  There are two objectives to the trip.  First, to give the participants the opportunity to travel to Africa and see the on the ground conditions, connect culturally and politically with the motherland and the self determination organizing work taking place there.  Secondly, to make a contribution of $1,000.00 USD to on the ground organizers there to purchase books for the A-APRP's work study programs in each country and to assist the on the ground organizing efforts in each of those Chapters.

As a result, the $21,000.00 fundraising goal reflects the cost of the contributions to each organizing chapter in Africa and the cost of plane fare for all 10 participants.

This trip will help to cement relations between young on the ground organizers in Africa and the U.S. while further developing the consciousness and understanding of the participants who will come back to the U.S. and share their experiences through a series of consistent A-APRP activities designed to educate and inform the community about the Pan-African movement of which the A-APRP is an active participant in helping bring about.
