We are Chris Ernst of Kitchener-Waterloo, Ian Currie of London, Nick Wammes of Bothwell, Lucas Taylor of London, Charlotte Creswicke of Tottenham, Kassandra Kriarakis of Tottenham, Ruby West of Dundas , Sarah Mason of London, Bayley Simpson of Lindsay and Ali VanYzendoorn of Orillia. We are aspiring U19 (under the age of 19) cyclists.

We will be representing Ontario at the National Track Championships in Burnaby British Columbia, November 21-24, 2014.

Most of us have been fortunate this year, traveling to LA to train at a world class velodrome, to Quebec as team Ontario to compete in an international junior stage race, to Windsor to compete at the Ontario Summer Games and to all parts of the province to race against the best athletes in Ontario.

Up to this point, our team has been 100% self funded.
Competitive cycling is a very costly sport and expenses are in the 10s of thousands of dollars every year. The cost of this trip alone is over $1000 per athlete. This does not include training, new bike parts, clothing, fuel to get to and from track sessions at the velodrome in London and the fuel for our bodies as we train.
