Brody turns 14 on 10/21/14. With age has come some complications—over the past three years we've battled pneumonia, arthritis, and deafness—but he has lots of good years left with the right care!
I adopted Brody on 1/14/01 as an early birthday gift. He's been my companion and trusted friend for almost 14 years. One of his many nicknames is the "Circus Dog" because he performs a number of tricks for treats (appropriate for a dog born in October). He's also a huge Denver Broncos fan!
George Clooney famously said that his longest relationship was with his pet potbelly pig, Max. Mine has been with my amazing Brody Beagle. I can't imagine life without him, and with your help, I can provide the surgery Brody needs to keep him healthy and happy for years to come. Many beagles live between 16-20 years!
Brody has a tumor in his back toe. On 10/23/14 the vet will remove his entire toe, and he'll check to see if the cancer has spread. Brody's already had blood work, toe and chest X-rays, blood pressure monitoring, medications, and an aspiration of the tumor. His vet bills are piling up fast.
Please help Brody. He's sweet and loves to be around people—even if they don't have treats—and I'd be a mess without him. Brody has always been there for me without judgement. Instead, he wags his tail and loves to be brushed and massaged. (He even has his own massager like the prince he is.)
I love Brody with all my heart. And I would appreciate your help from the very bottom of that Brody-loving heart. Any and all donations are more than welcome, but if you can't donate, please spread the word on social media. <3
