Send Alex 2 State

HI !   This is Alex !  13 year old 8th grade all around great guy!   We live in a very rural community on the Gulf Coast of MS.      Our small school started a swim program this year.   With no funds, a couple weeks already into season and a Volunteer coach and driver, because we don't even have  a pool we have to drive an entire county way to practice each day.   Due to starting late, and it being the first year, the school didn't have funds to help us.  But it didn't stop our Coach or our Kids.   Alex was the only middle school boy that made the team.    Against all odds our little team had 10 qualify for South State, and then Saturday Oct 18, at South State Championship  5 ( FIVE) of our swimmers qualified to go to STATE !  Everyone has to get themselves to State, and cover their own costs. State is around 5 1/2 hours from here,  we will leave on Fri Oct 31,  ( yes Halloween)  and the meet will last all day on Nov 1, 2014.    As a team we have been doing fundraisers in our community and recieved great support.   But Alex needs YOUR HELP to make it to STATE !   We need to cover our own transportation,  fuel, lodging, meals,  and fees ( if any come up).   He beat the odds to make the team, a team that beat the odds by being created,  beat the odds to make it to South State, then amazingly with his team under his wonderful coaches direction,  he beat the odds to go to STATE Championship !    This campaign is to help Alex Kirk and his family make sure he gets to swim at State !
