Meet our 2.5 year old Miniature Pincher Brady.
On 12/3/14 Brady had to have his front leg amputated after a very bad break to his leg that would not heal. The broken leg happened as a result of a very freak accident at home.
We are still trying to raise donations to help us pay off our loan to a very generous person who let us "borrow" the remaining funds needed for Brady's Surgery.
If this person didn't help us we would've had to give him up for adoption or worse put him down.
NOW : On 12/9/14, just 6 days after surgery : Brady is doing amazing ! He is walking around normal with very little pain :)
He had his re-check appointment last night. We have been blessed with an amazing vet and they are so happy with how he is doing <3
A week from tomorrow his stitches come out and hopefully we are done with vet visits for a while.
We LOVE our vet but are so happy Brady is finally on the mend and we are getting used to our NEW normal with our Brady Boy <3
We are Sheryl and Bruce Baton. Your typical "middle class" people. We live a simple life and are a very happy family :) We take alot of enjoyment in the simple things in life and count our blessings every day.
Like so many of us, my husband and I live paycheck to paycheck and struggle to keep up with our own personal bills that seem to never go away :/ So we were not prepared for the extreme costs and the "unknowns" that we faced with our Brady Boy. It has been a very stressful few months.
Having a 3 legged dog now has not been nearly as much of an adjustment as we expected.
Brady already has his "sparkle" back and in the picture I have on this website he seems to me like he is smiling :) He is such a warrior to me for overcoming this !
Any donations are so greatly appreciated and no amount is too small. We are trying to make every effort to pay off this loan as soon as we can to show our extreme appreciation to the person who allowed us to keep our Brady and give him a good quality of life <3
We again want to thank all those who have helped with donations, kind words and Prayers so far.
I will be sure to keep you all updated on Brady's recovery on this site.
