Astronomy Travel Learning Course (TLC) to Germany and Italy
Travel Learning Courses are offered at Ohio Wesleyan as an addition to some classes. They offer the opportunity to study what you have learned during the semester in the field. The trip will focus on the history and future of space exploration. We will visit the European Space Operations Center (ESOC) in Frankfurt, the European Space Research Institute (ESRIN), as well as many other places of scientific importance in Europe.
The entry into TLC's is competetive and the learning experience they offer is invaluable.
I'm at Ohio Wesleyan on an Academic Merit scholarship, but tuition is still expensive. I'm working over 20 hours a week to contribute, and I'll be able to pay $500 of my own money towards this trip. I am also saving money to pay for a trip with our school's ministry in the spring. However, I need to rely on the generosity of others to participate in this rare opportunity. Please consider helping me reach my goal.
