Please Save My Cat

This is my cat, Rosemary (Rosie). She once belonged to a little old lady who lived in a place I was later to move into. When the lady moved, she left Rosie behind. So did the next two people to live there; they took her in, then abandoned her. When we took her in, I promised her that she was home forever. She has been with us for five years now, and moved with us twice. She is the sweetest little cat, and loves everyone. She's also an odd, quirky little cat, who makes us laugh and loves having her tummy rubbed, and sleeps on the top of her head, tucked under.

A few months ago, she started coughing. We took her to the vet, and she would not stop purring the whole exam! She just loves to be touched. The vet told us she has a really badly absessed tooth, and the coughing was because of the blood and pus draining down her throat. It was also making her vomit frequently. To remove the tooth and clean out the absess would be nine hundred. If left untreated, the infection will eventually kill her. Her coughing is increasing in frequency and severity.

Since that time, I've tried everything I can to get the money, I even applied for Care Credit, but was turned down. I can afford her basic care (food, flea spots, wormer, etc.), but not a nine hundred dollar surgery. By the time I could save it up, she'd be dead.

So now I am hoping that there are some animal lovers out there willing to help out a funny little cat, and her broke person.
