Neurofeedback for Gavin

Hello :)

Gavin has severe autism, sound sensitivities, ocd and the anxiety that comes with it. Things are getting progressively worse and we are essentially prisoners in our own house most of the time --going out in the community usually ends in disaster. He can no longer attend school because of his issues. I am single, and cannot work because of these issues.

There is a somewhat-nearby clinic in Tampa, with a doc trained in functional neurology, who offers Neurofeedback among other things. I've heard many positive things about this treatment and how it could help Gavin. We need to give it a try. This is not covered by his insurance. Gavin is not a happy kid right now. He's a tortured kid, tortured by his ailments --and I can't help him.  I can't even get him in to see a doctor who takes his insurance until January to discuss medication. We are between a rock and a hard place.

Part of keeping Gavin happy is rides in the car. We'd go daily, on long rides, if it were up to him and finances weren't an issue.  My car has $800 in repairs that I know about that need done, and I know there are more problems... just don't know the price tag. Besides the rides that keep him happy, the car is needed to get to appointments.

I set the amount I am seeking at $4,000 --to cover car repairs, and to have enough to assure plenty of trips to the doc for neurofeedback. Any excess will all go to him, it all goes to him :) There are some supplements specfic to his MTHFR mutations that I have been wanting to try for him.
