Dear Family and Friends … we the family of Zacarias Uribes, II, are stunned at the overwhelming love and support you have shown for his children during this very difficult time. Your generosity through this fund has lightened a heavy burden as we face this ordeal. Two days ago we laid my son to rest and his beautiful daughter Felicia read a moving poem for her father. His son Zacarias, III, wore his BDU cap and watched in amazement as a special US Marine Corps Honor Guard saluted him at the Albert G. Horton Jr. Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
The funds you have you have donated will go a very long way in assisting the children and our family in defraying many of the costs incurred as a result of this tragic event, as well supplement the near future living expenses for the children in the absence of their fathers’ income. Any additional funds collected beyond those needs, or any future donations received via other manners will be combined with any long term arrangements that may have been or may yet to be made for the children. .
