Michelle's medical/travel expenses

This has been a week filled with so many trials and blessings all wrapped up together! I know that there is nothing too big for God! This week especially I've tried to surround myself with positive energy and good thoughts. I've tried to avoid negativity and discouragement but it seems to seep in anyways. From sitting in the waiting room for an appt to passing by someone in a store or even scrolling through the newsfeed on FB, it seems someone is talking about another cancer diagnosis or someone else's battle ending in death. I'm a very sensitive person anyways, my kids are the same way, so my days are already filled with lots of tears on a normal basis. Not just negative things, tears flow in this house over the good things, exciting things, shocking things and the sad things! It's really hard though when you are trying to just forget cancer for a bit and claim a "normal" moment, it's almost impossible! My heart is so burdened for those suffering through this. From the babies to the elderly, cancer has no prejudice, it's vicious! It shows no mercy and destroys whatever it can. A dear friend sent me a sign for my wall with a list of things cancer can NOT do. I had my daughter hang it right beside my bed so I can read it often! The fight with cancer is a brutal one. Fear is constantly trying to consume your thoughts and drown you in darkness. Most days I do ok but there are days when it's just too much, when it all just builds up to the point of overflowing, and fear has a foothold! I have no idea what the surgeons are going to find. I'm believing all the cancer will be removed and that no evidence of it spreading will be present. I'm believing for no complications and for a speedy recovery! It feels good to be surrounded by community supporters! Thanks to everyone again! As my pastor in tx would say "you'll get through this, it won't be easy and it won't be quick always, but you'll get through it"! Thanks for helping our family get through this!!
