Funds for Fritz

Donation protected
On Tuesday, May 19th, 2015 Fritz Philogene was riding his bike, as he always did, through a Dorchester intersection when he was struck by vehicle and killed. Fritz was only about a block form his home and celebrated his 18th birthday the day before.

Fritz was part of our TechBoston Academy family at TBA lower and left us after the 8th grade to go to CASH. He was most recently a student at West Roxbury Academy. However, you  could often spot him on Robert’s Field playing soccer, lending a helping hand to TBA staff or checking in with former classmates at the end of school day.

Fritz loved to help others and often did in his own quiet way.  Several years ago at the former TechBoston Lower Academy Frtiz eagerly assisted in constructing our lending library. He offered his time and talent to build the shelving, paint the walls and hang the flags that lined the space. We will remember and cherish Fritz's generous spirit and the picture captures it best.

We are asking for any donations to help his family provide a proper burial for their son. His father and extended family are still in Haiti and are unable to attend services in Boston. Therefore, the family needs to bring Fritz back to Haiti to lay him to rest.

Please keep his family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this trying time. He will be greatly missed. All donations will help Fritz's family cover funeral costs, no donation is too small and any and every donation is greatly appreciated.

If you are unable to donate at this time, please share this page.
