Lorelei's battle with pancreatitis

I'd taken one lesson from my drum teacher, Kyle, when he called me to tell me that we would have to wait for additional lessons for his three year old daughter was in the hospital.  At the time I had no idea, but this has turned out to be a 5 week ordeal discovering that little Lorelie has Pancreatitis, a desease usually affecting middle aged alcholoholics or those with a gunshot or knife wound. She has been moved by ambulance to Santa Barbara and twice to LA (once from SB, and once from home) and is currently being fed intravenously.  She's on the slow road to recovery, and will soon (hopefully) be started on eating foods like Jello. 

However, her father Kyle works for himself; meaning he hasn't been paid in 5 weeks while he's been in the hospital with her.  This last week he told me that he didn't even know it was Febuary until he was in an ambulance and saw the date above the back door.  He is so out of his normal life, and completly devoted to getting his daughter well.  I hope to raise enough to help him pay some immediate bills, and hopefully help him start to get his life back together.
