FSG has been a staple of the art community in Upstate NY for nearly 18 years. We are a community and member based organization supporting and nurturing artists in both visual and performing arts. While our main mission includes similarities to other arts organizations, we are unique in many other aspects. We have been able to mount shows with content that might not be shown in the area. We mount first time solo shows by local artists.

We have opened our space as a kind of incubator where musicians and writers have come together to form an ensamble and performed to the public. We are a space that has offered a home for a drum circle and hosted workshops with "Creative Connections".

We are hosting shows of graduating students from RPI and HVCC that would otherwise be not seen by the general public. And we have been one of the spaces that hosts the Photography Regional and was pivitol in keeping it alive.
We are doing really great things.
So, let me tell you about what we are asking for here.
We are looking to move FSG forward.
The funds raised here are for:
Our basic operating costs that will take us through the start of next year. We have plans in place to move us beyond that and a fundraiser slated for November.
To acquire a computer, internet access, and office set up that will help us be productive at the Gallery.
To finalize our transision to "Fulton Street Gallery" not for profit ( it worked under another and need to establish our own. We are most of the way through. )

Help with grant writing resourses.
We are mounting this campaign in hopes of reaching our goal by July 1st.
While any amount helps, we hope that you will consider one of our donation levels.
