HELP MAKE A 'BUCKET LIST' DREAM COME TRUE!!
The story of a local family with 2 daughters living with a rare, life-limiting lung disease has come to my attention and with your assistance I would like to help grant one of their “bucket list” wishes of a family houseboat holiday.
Tabetha (aged 12) and Georgia-Grace (aged 7) have been diagnosed with a rare form of diffuse lung disease, which stops their lung cells from absorbing oxygen properly. The girls are connected to oxygen tanks 24 hours a day with a 20ft cord which adds to their limitations of leading a “normal” childhood. Playing at the park and attending school full time are everyday experiences that other children take for granted but for Tabetha and Georgia-Grace these are experiences they can only dream of.
Bobby and Marcus Fulton also have 4 other children, so as you can imagine family outings and holidays are very limited for the entire family. A houseboat holiday for the whole family would be an experience they could all enjoy together without too much exertion for the girls. An 8 berth houseboat for a week will be around the $3000 mark, any assistance you could provide would be greatly appreciated by myself, the local community and especially the Fulton family.
