As many of you may know, I have ventured off to south Dallas to study ministry at a bible institute called Christ For the Nation Institute.
And let me just tell you, I AM GETTING WRECKED (in a good way) FOR THE LORD.
I have been here for about 2 months, and I am constantly being assured that this is where God would have me. Within the past 2 months Satan has been giving me the hardest time. In August my great grandma passed away, and then in late September I had a spontaneous seizure. Satan is a punk.
Because of my seizure, legally in the state of Texas, I cannot drive for a minimum of 3 months. And I will be the first to say that not being able to drive yourself around to the simple everyday places you normally would, is VERY humbling. Unfortunately, this includes the new found job I was just blessed by.
Town North YMCA hired me around mid-September, and is inconveniently about a 30 minute drive (one way) from CFNI. Although I have been blessed to have a handful of people step up and say they could help get me to and from work, I know that not many can afford to spend that money (or time for that matter). Since then, I have been trying to find something a little more local or even on campus to help raise my funds towards my school bill...but time is running short, and I am still struggling to find anything.
I have been SO blessed by many (if not all) of you guys throughout my life. You guys have always supported me and my dreams and goals, and have always encouraged and supported me throughout these 18 (almost 19) years. With that being said, I would like to present to you one more opprotunity to give, bless, and support me. All the funds raised will help me pay for the rest of this semister (end of the year), until I can get back on my feet with a steady job/income.
I would like to thank you guys in advance, whether it is for the funds, prayers, or needed laugh during this season...I know the Lord will provide.
