17 is an Art Gallery supporting local artists and musicians in Miami by offering a safe space in which to create and develop pieces, host artist receptions, write & record music, and perform live.
We do offer the space to community organizations whose clients are unable to afford some of our services.
I have been funding this effort entirely from my personal income. Unfortunately, I cannot continue to do so without your help.
This center was created to be a haven for art and music. With the funds we raise, we can continue to provide the space, pay staff, purchase supplies, and keep the fees affordable if not free so that local artists and musicians in Miami can have opportunities they may not have otherwise.
These artists need YOU! Art and music has been removed from school programs. Since Miami is up an "up and coming" art market, some Galleries struggle with sales in this area because collectors tend to deal with more seasoned curators and artists. Therefore, we have to be able to sustain the business until sales increase. This is where you come in!
