On October 26th 2013 my grandfather Rick Hubbard, father Mark Hubbard, and myself Cullen Hubbard competed in Evergreen Speedways Interstate Batteries Pumpkin Smash Endurance Race. This was a 3 hour foreign stock racecar endurance race that involved 45 cars on a speedway road course that included sections of the 5/8 mile, 3/8 mile, and figure-eight tracks at a total distance of about 180 miles. At the time of the race my grandfather was 68, my father was 44, and I was 21. Having three generations of a family race is rare and it is even rarer for all three generations to compete in a race at the same time. But what happened to us has never happened before. We finished 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. My grandfather started in 33rd and finished 1st, my father started 22nd and finished 2nd, and I started 3rd and finished 3rd. This accomplishment has earned us a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records for the first three generations to finish 1, 2, 3 in an automotive endurance race. The money raised from this campaign will go towards the paperwork to process our accomplishment into the record book and to be able to present the plaque to my grandfather on his upcoming birthday.
Please help my family get into the record book.
Thank you for your generosity and time.
