Schools & Shelters for Nepal

Hi My name is Steve Pineapple Alberts. Together with The Big Umbrella Foundation Rebuild Nepal Project and some other NGO's we are building schools and houses in the "Black spot Areas" of remote Nepal. So far through the generosity of others we have been able to build the following:

Waffal Village Sindupalchok
1 x 4 classroon school

Pritee Village
2 x 3 bedroom houses 
We have also commenced building this week a 10 classroom School 

Batase Village Sindupalchok
Roads
Irrigation to several houses

We have also partnered other NGO's in the building of 13 temporary schools until i can raise the money to build new permanent schools. Lots of temporary housing to get through the monsoon.

We are also raising money to give 2000 School back packs with exercise books, pens pencils and hygene packs of soap, toothpaste and toothbrush. We are asking people to donate $25 per back pack and they will be given out to the kids in April.

Education is the key for these kids, some of whom walk for four hours to get to school.

We are making generational change to help those who have received no help from their government or international aid as of now.
