For the Love of Mel

Melanie Campbell Figueroa died suddenly and tragically early Friday morning, May 10th.

Melanie dedicated her life to her husband, child & to delivering babies.

Our friend, Josh Figueroa, is dealing with the worst kind of pain a person can feel. We can only imagine how difficult it is for her parents, her sister, and especially, her teenage daughter.


Times like these remind us that work, possessions, stresses, trivial problems, material things and the day to day tedium of our lives isn't really important! Love is ALL that really matters. And, now, YOUR love is needed.

You don't have to have a close relationship with Mel in order to want to help ease the pain, ever so slightly, in a meaningful way.

A great way to help, while honoring Melanie, is to contribute what you can to help Josh stay on his feet. His security is not secured.

Donations will go towards these immediate needs and expenses that demand attention as well as to create a resource for Mel's daughter to use in the future however she wishes.


The truth is, no one likes asking for money, but if you are able to give anything, anything at all, please contribute. It would be just as much help if you give of your time by sharing this message to as many as you can and as many times. Give others an opportunity to also become part of the promise.

The Figueroas have belonged to a number of communities, including, but not limited to; Music, Tattoo, Labor & Delivery and Roller Derby. If just a few people from all these awesome communities donate a little time & money it will go a long way towards honoring a promise.
