Trooper is a sweet, homeless little kitten who was born with no eyelids.
He was found wandering the streets, scared and hungry and was taken to the local animal shelter. That's when the FRIENDS group got involved.
We are a nonprofit, all-volunteer, 501 (c)(3) charity that is dedicated to the health and welfare of Ocean Country, N.J. cats, kittens and dogs.
We took charge of Trooper's care and had him seen by a veterinary opthamologist at Red Bank Animal Hospital. Trooper's doctor said that as he grows he'll be in a lot of pain due to this condition. But the good news is that surgery to reconstruct his eyelids can be done!
The cost of Trooper's surgery will be $1,000. Your donation -- of any amount -- will allow us to help this charming little boy so he can have the happy, pain-free life he deserves!
