We are the Trumansburg High School Robotics Team - FRC#5254:HYPE A team of ambitious students and volunteer professional mentors. We are in our third season as a team and we respectfully need your support in our efforts to build a robot and compete in this years FIRST Robotics Competition - Stronghold .
A super huge thanks to everyone who supported us last year. With your help we had a tremendous season finishing as finalists at both our regional competitions and 10th in our division at the World Championship. The team has doubled in size and we are working even harder on this years challenge . Here is a video of our current prototype robot for this seasons competition.

Our team is 100% community funded and we are raising money to help pay for materials and tools to build our robot (approximately $5,000) and competition event fees ($5,000 per event). The FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) is an international high school robotics competition that gives students real-world engineering and business development experience. Under strict rules, each team is challenged to raise funds, design (CAD), develop, build and program a 120 lb robot (including electronics and control system components, metal fabrication and pneumatics) to perform assigned tasks against an international field of competitors.
This year, our third season, our team has doubled in size. We are hoping to go to two competitions in March. One event is at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and the other at Rochester Institute of Technology.
Our competition registration dates are looming and we are hoping for any financial support you can provide us to help create our areas next generation of STEM and Business Leaders.
