My name is Francisco Daniel Gutierrez and I am running for West Covina School Board. I have been a resident of the district for over 5 years and graduated from Edgewood High School in 2017. Before that I attended Hollencrest Middle School and am proud to have been educated from this district.
Currently I attened Mt. San Antonio College, a Political Science major and plan to transfer to UCLA in 2019.
During my senior year in high school, I had the honor to serve as a Student Board Member for the West Covina School Board. Through this experience I saw the imporatnce to have committed, motivational, and well-rounded leaders on our school board.
As a WCUSD Alumni I want to bring new ideas to the district that will better prepare our children for higher education and success in this ever-changing world.
I know what our children need at their schools and I am prepared from day one to make sure that the students and teachers needs are fully met.
We need leaders that know the needs of our schools. As a recent graduate from our distinguished district, I know what our students need and where our resources can be useful towards their educational success.
I am committed and determined to be the voice of students, parents, and teachers. I will bring positive change to our schools and lead our district to a promising future.
