Nicks legal fund

Hello,  my name is Johnathan, I have  a son with cystic fibrosis. About a year and a half ago my ex wife took my son out of state for a year, she did not have him seen by a doctor which his condition requires quarterly check ups. On fathers day this year I was able to pick him up only to find that he was really sick, I took him to the hospital and the doctors stated that his lung function had dropped to 30%. He was admitted and had a 2 week stay to get him healthy again. He was released into my care but a day before the school year started his mother demanded him back. Even though there was an open CPS case I was required by law to return him due to her having custody. A week and a half later I took him back to the doctor for a check up, in that week she had him he was not taken care of adequately again. His lung fuction dropped back down to 67% and was again admitted into the hospital for 2 weeks. I was his only visitor this last time and he didnt even receive any phone calls from his mother. I have hired a lawyer and had another CPS case opened, CPS has placed him with me due to medical negligence on his mothers part. Between paying for trips to the hospital, parking every day, gas,babystitters(i am a single father), groceries, and school uniforms I have fallen on some hard times. I hate asking for help but my lawyer has asked for additional money from what I have already paid her. I understand that she needs more money but with all my expenses and my child support still coming out of my check it is really hard to find extra money. I am only seeking help with paying for my lawyer as the CPS protection plan runs out next month so I am hoping that once I pay my lawyer the rest of what she is asking me things will move quicker. My family has helped me out as much as they could this summer with all the hospitalizations and helping me with money and I have had some help from really close friends as well and I cannot ask anymore from them as they dont have much to give. So I'm reaching out to gofund me to help me secure the reamainging money to help me get custody of my son. while being in my care he has jumped from the 50th percentile to the 75th which is really great for a CF kid. his lung function has also improved since his last dr visit from 93% to 95.3%. I'm sure that once I get my day in court things will be fine but im worried that i will not be able to come up with the remainder before the protective plan by CPS runs out. The funds donated will go to pay the remainder of what i owe my lawyer and any extra will go to help us get back on track financially after the strain of the hospitilizations have set us back.
