Dear Local Businesses, Business Owners, Family and Friends,
We are contacting you on behalf of the Suffolk County Community College Equestrian Team. We will be participating in the National Think Pink® Breast Cancer Rally! The purpose of Think Pink ® is to promote breast cancer awareness and raise funds to eradicate this disease.
Suffolk CC will be hosting a “Think Pink” event on Sunday, October 26, 2014 at our home equestrian center, Country Farms in Medford. The equestrian team will be competing all day in a horse show against other colleges. Our team will be gratefully collecting donations of any kind. This includes, but is not limited to, monetary donations, gift baskets, gift certificates, and any other unique items to be raffled or auctioned off. ALL proceeds from donations, sales, and raffles will support health care professionals in their pursuit of practical solutions for those affected by this disease via The Susan G. Komen Foundation.
